In most cases the power for the Device Interface comes from the machine. It is sufficient the power down the machine and put the power switch to off. In case the Device Interface has an external power supply, also disconnect this power supply.

Make sure all the status lights on the Device Interface are off.

2.2. Locate the RoboJob Device Interface PLC

There are a few different places where the Device Interface PLC can be located. The purpose of the Device Interface is to communicate with the machine, so there will always be wiring to the machine.

The Device Interface PLC is often build in the electrical cabinet of the machine, in an external enclosure, in the electrical cabinet of the stacker or the electrical cabinet of IPC.
