Note

You have received new settings for the device interface from RoboJob, which have to be imported.Follow this document on how to import the settings.


1. Use following tools

Industrial Personal Computer (IPC)

other usbDrive
Empty USB-Stick

2. Procedure

2.1. Download and Copy the file to an USB-stick

Download the file that was send to you by RoboJob.The file that was send will have an extension as '.json'.

Copy this file to an empty USB-Stick.

2.2. Plug the USB-stick in the IPC

Plug the USB-stick in the USB port on the side of the IPC.

2.3. Open the device interface website

Open the virtual keyboard with the shortcut on the Desktop.Press the Windows symbol to open the Windows start menu.

In the start menu, click on the Device Interface shortcut.

The following website will be shown.

2.4. Import settings

On the website, click on settings in the top menu bar.

Then, Click on 'Import Settings'.

A new window will popup.Select the file on the USB-stick and press on 'Open'.

A window will now ask to overwrite the current PLC settings.Click on Yes to overwrite the current configuration (settings).

After clicking Yes, a loading animation will start.

After around 10 to 30 seconds the loading animation will disappear and the website is not reachable anymore.This is normal, since the Device interface is restarting at this point.The browser can be safely closed now.

Warning

If the loading animation is not shown and the connection to the website is not lost, please contact RoboJob again.

2.5. Test the new settings

You can now test the new settings.If the problem isn’t solved with these settings, please contact RoboJob again.

You can send this information to us via email.To send large files you may make use of a file transfer service like WeTransfer: robojob.wetransfer.com.

An automatic confirmation will be sent upon receipt of your mail.
